Terms and Conditions – Die Reinterpreten Kids 

§1 Scope of application

(1) These General Terms and Conditions apply to all courses, workshops, and events („Offers“) offered by The Reinterpreters Kids, conducted by Daniel van der Linden-Wöller.

(2) Any deviating terms and conditions of the participants or their legal guardians shall not apply unless they are expressly confirmed in writing.


§2 Conclusion of contract & booking

(1) Bookings are made online via the website www.die-reinterpreten.de/kids.

(2) A binding contract is concluded upon completion of the booking process and payment via PayPal.

(3) Participation places are limited. Places will be allocated in the order in which payment is received.


§3 Participation requirements & obligations of parents

(1) Children within the specified age range are eligible to participate.

(2) Legal guardians are obligated to, all relevant health information, especially allergies, intolerances, illnesses, and special needs of the child to be communicated before the start of the course.

(3) If this notification is not provided or is negligently incomplete, The Reinterpreters Kids no liability for resulting damages (Section 276 of the German Civil Code (BGB)).

(4) Participation is at your own risk of the children or their legal guardians, to the extent permitted by law. Appropriate supervision will be provided during the course, but risks associated with nature, pottery, the use of tools, or being in the garden can never be completely ruled out.


§4 Presence of parents

(1) Parents may be present during the program if they wish.

(2) However, for educational reasons, it is recommended that children without parents participate, as experience has shown that this leads to greater concentration and group dynamics.

(3) Parents who are present must follow the course instructor's instructions.


§5 Cancellation & Refund

(1) Withdrawal from the contract is possible until 14 days before the course begins possible free of charge (Section 312g in conjunction with Section 355 of the German Civil Code (BGB), provided that no legal exclusion applies).

(2) In the event of a later withdrawal, the following shall apply in principle no refund, except in the following cases:

  • Serious illness of the child, as evidenced by a medical certificate.

  • relocation, that makes participation unreasonable (proof required).

    (3) In the cases referred to in paragraph 2, the course fee shall, at the discretion of the organizer, either be refunded or credited as a credit note for a later course.

    (4) If you do not show up without giving notice, you are not entitled to a refund.


§6 Cancellation by the organizer

(1) The Reinterpreters Kids reserves the right to cancel courses for important reasons, e.g. illness of the course instructor, extreme weather conditions, or insufficient number of participants.

(2) Participation fees already paid will be refunded in full or, upon request, transferred to a later date.

(3) Further claims are excluded (Sections 275 and 280 of the German Civil Code (BGB)).


§7 Liability

(1) Liability for damages caused by slight negligence is excluded, except in cases of injury to life, limb, or health (§ 276 BGB).

(2) For damage caused by children intentionally or through gross negligence , the legal guardians are liable (§ 832 BGB).

(3) For clothes, valuables, or toys brought along No liability is assumed.

(4) For health reactions due to unreported allergies, intolerances, or illnesses No liability is assumed.

(5) Participation takes place in a natural environment; typical risks exist here (insect bites, roots, uneven ground, dirt, weather conditions). Parents are aware of these risks and accept them.


§8 Image and sound recordings (optional)

(1) Photos may be taken during the courses for internal documentation purposes.

(2) Publication on the website or on social media shall only take place with the prior written consent of the legal guardians (§ 22 KUG).


§9 Terms of payment

(1) Payment is made online via PayPal or other payment methods offered.

(2) Your place is only secured once full payment has been received.


§10 Data protection

(1) The provisions of the privacy policy on the website apply.

(2) Health data will be stored solely for the purpose of conducting the courses and will not be disclosed to third parties.


§11 Severability clause

Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected (§ 306 BGB).


§12 Place of jurisdiction & applicable law

German law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Frankfurt am Main, to the extent permitted by law.
