2. General information on data processing

We take the protection of personal data very seriously. Processing is carried out exclusively in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the applicable German data protection laws (BDSG).

Personal data is only collected if this:
• is necessary for the implementation of the courses,
• is required by law,
• or if express consent has been given.

Data will not be passed on to third parties unless this is absolutely necessary for the fulfillment of the contract (e.g., payment providers) or required by law.

3. Collection and processing of personal data

3.1. Data when booking a course

The following data is processed during online booking:
• Last name and first name of the legal guardian(s)
• Name and age of the child
• Address
• Phone number / email address
• Health-related information (e.g., allergies, intolerances, special needs)
• Booking and payment details

Purpose:
Organization and implementation of children's courses, safety precautions, communication.

Legal basis:
• Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (performance of a contract)
• Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent for health data)
• Art. 9(2) GDPR (special categories of personal data)

Health data is treated as strictly confidential, used exclusively to ensure the safety of the child, and not disclosed to third parties.

3.2. Newsletter

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we store:
• Email address
• optional name

Purpose: Sending information about courses, dates, promotions.

Legal basis:
Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent).

You can unsubscribe at any time via:
• Link in every newsletter
• or by email to: [your email address]

The data will not be sold, rented, or used for third-party purposes.

We may use the following providers:

Mailchimp / Brevo / MailerLite / or similar (please select!)
These providers may be located outside the EU. In this case, processing is carried out on the basis of standard contractual clauses in accordance with Art. 46 GDPR.

3.3. Establishing contact

When contacting us by email or form, the data transmitted will be stored in order to process the request.

Legal basis:
Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures).

The data will not be passed on to third parties.

3.4. Payment provider (PayPal)

Payments are made via PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A.

The following are processed:
• Name
• Address
• Email
• Payment information
• Transaction data

Purpose: Payment processing.

Legal basis:
Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

PayPal is responsible for independent data processing.

4. Disclosure of data

No data will be disclosed to third parties, except:
• to payment service providers (e.g., PayPal) for processing,
• if required by law (e.g., tax office),
• or if express consent has been given.

Children's data will never be transferred to external organizations, advertisers, or other recipients.

5. Storage and deletion of data
• Data from bookings is stored for the duration of the statutory retention periods (usually 10 years).
• Health data will be deleted no later than 4 weeks after the end of the course, unless further consent has been given.
• Data for the newsletter will remain stored until consent is revoked.
• Contact requests will be deleted after processing is complete, at the latest after 6 months.

6. Cookies & technical data

Our website uses cookies that are technically necessary for the booking page to function.

If you want to use tracking or statistics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), I need to add an extra section here—I'm leaving it out for now, as you probably don't use any external trackers.

7. Integration of media / photos

Photos may be taken during the courses.
Processing only takes place:
• with the express written consent of the legal guardians,
• exclusively for the agreed purpose (e.g., website, flyer, social media).

No publication will take place without consent.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Sections 22, 23 KUG.

8. Rights of data subjects

Legal guardians and participants of legal age have the following rights:
• Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
• Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
• Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
• Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
• Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
• Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)

Competent authority:
The Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

9. Data security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect data against loss, unauthorized access, manipulation, and disclosure.

These include, among others:
• SSL encryption of the entire website
• Password-protected systems
• Restricted access to sensitive data
• No storage of unnecessary data

10. Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy as necessary, e.g. in the event of new legal requirements or changes to our offerings.

The current version is available at any time on our website.
